18/05/2008
The Inaugural Burghley Speycasting competition was a resounding success thanks to the blazing sunshine on the day. This was a new competition and the organizers had made an excellent job of laying out the course the pontoons were a perfect height and the new angle change ropes were clearly marked.
Carron had a 6 man team at the competition and there was £1000.00 prize money to be won.
