Sunday's final proved to be very exciting with the wind being kind to some competitors and cruel to others. The drawing of lots for the order of casting is a good thing as at some point in the afternoon at the ponds the wind was to start swirling which would make it really tricky.
Gordon Armstrong produced an immaculate display in the final and produced that amazing 158 foot left hand Speycast .
Congratulations also to the other 3 Carron lads who done extremely well in the final James Chalmers 6th, Andrew Toft 7th and Murray Richardson 9th.
